Description

Washbear Studio is a small independent studio made up of two veteran game tinkerers who created their first title Parkasaurus. Since the success of Parkasaurus the duo are back again working on a new exciting title; Railborn.

History

Early history

Mayuran and Chris first met as cubicle mates over a decade ago at Drinkbox Studios and quickly found a common passion for the ridiculousness of the Internet. Their discussions usually revolved around game design, gameplay, and whatever the latest cool kid game was. They started prototyping all their ideas, ranging from exploration kayak games to tactile turn-based combat simulators. Pretty sure there was a rabbit game in there. Their first creation, Parkasaurus, was cool enough that they wanted to tell the world about it. Now the they’re back with Railborn, and ambitious open world survival game!

Railborn

The Washbear team has been working on Railborn for the last couple of years and excited to share their journey with everyone during the development.

Chris and Mayuran high fived and Washbear was formed. The world rejoiced. Now the duo is focusing their attention on NewGame; a game they are excited to talk about soon. Their first game as a studio was Parkasaurus; a dinosaur park business simulation game, with a sprinkle of space travel, included.
